King's Family Distillery Bourbon Whiskey Finished in an Agave Toasted Barrel

Toasted Agave Bourbon is a 5 year, 36% bourbon that the brand decided to “throw something at the wall” with.  They had been doing small experiments with neutral spirits, light whiskey, and ryeconic, but nothing was quite right - so they decided to try it with the 36%, which they use with the honey, and it was phenomenal.  You almost get a suggestion of the sweetness of mezcal, but it’s still definitely bourbon.
