Overview
De Wine Spot offers:
- Free store pickup for qualifying online orders.
- Next-day delivery to eligible addresses in parts of Manhattan and Brooklyn.
- Nationwide shipping to addresses throughout the United States.
- International shipping to selected destinations.
- Free shipping on qualifying orders over $400, subject to the terms below.
Available products, carriers, shipping methods, rates, and delivery times may vary based on the destination, inventory, weather, carrier availability, and other order-specific considerations.
Order Review and Acceptance
All orders are subject to review and acceptance.
An order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order but does not guarantee that the order will be fulfilled or shipped. We reserve the right to decline, cancel, or refund any order that we are unable to fulfill.
Store Pickup
Customers may select store pickup during checkout when that option is available.
We will notify you when your order is ready. Please do not arrive for pickup until you have received confirmation that the order is prepared.
The person collecting the order must be at least 21 years old and may be required to present valid government-issued photo identification.
Next-Day Local Delivery
Next-day delivery may be available to eligible addresses in parts of Manhattan and Brooklyn on orders of at least $35.
Orders generally must be placed by 5:00 p.m. to qualify. Orders placed after the cutoff may be scheduled for the following available delivery day.
Next-day delivery is subject to product availability. Certain allocated, limited-release, special-order, or independently sourced products may require additional processing time and may instead be shipped through a standard carrier.
Someone at least 21 years old must be available to receive and sign for the delivery.
Nationwide Shipping
We accept orders for delivery to addresses throughout the United States.
Orders are generally shipped through UPS. Shipping methods and rates are displayed during checkout when available.
Estimated delivery times are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed. Carrier delays, weather, holidays, address issues, security reviews, inventory availability, and other circumstances outside our control may affect delivery.
We reserve the right to select or change the carrier or shipping method when reasonably necessary to complete an order.
Adult Signature and Identification
You must be at least 21 years old to purchase or receive alcoholic beverages.
Shipments containing alcoholic beverages require an adult signature at delivery. The carrier may require the recipient to present valid government-issued photo identification showing that the recipient is at least 21 years old.
Packages containing alcohol cannot be left unattended or delivered without an eligible adult recipient.
By placing an order, you represent that you are legally permitted to purchase and receive the products at the delivery address provided.
Weather and Temperature Considerations
Extreme heat, freezing temperatures, storms, and other weather conditions can damage wine and other temperature-sensitive products.
We may recommend delaying or holding a shipment when conditions could affect product quality or safe delivery. Customers who request shipment despite such conditions accept the risk that weather exposure or extended transit times may affect the products.
Carrier delays caused by weather or other conditions outside our control are not guaranteed to qualify for a refund or replacement.
International Shipping
International shipping may be available to selected destinations shown during checkout or confirmed by our customer-service team.
International customers are responsible for confirming that the products may legally be imported into the destination country. The recipient is also responsible for customs clearance, duties, taxes, import fees, brokerage charges, and any other destination-related costs.
We cannot guarantee that an international shipment will clear customs.
If an international shipment is refused, rejected, abandoned, seized, destroyed, or returned because of local laws, customs requirements, unpaid fees, or the recipient’s failure to accept delivery, shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Additional return or disposal charges may also be deducted from any available refund.
Free Shipping
Free shipping may be available on qualifying orders over $400.
The free-shipping benefit covers up to $35 of shipping charges per shipment. When shipping costs exceed $35, the customer is responsible for the remaining amount.
Free shipping may not be combined with certain discounts, promotions, special offers, or products unless expressly stated otherwise.
Free-shipping eligibility may vary based on the order, destination, product type, carrier, and shipping method.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges may include carrier fees, packaging materials, handling, fuel surcharges, insurance, and adult-signature fees.
The amount displayed at checkout is based on the information available when the order is placed. We will contact you before shipment if a material adjustment is required.
