This expression is part of the Solist series, representing Kavalan's commitment to single cask, cask strength releases. The whisky is aged in Taiwan's subtropical climate, accelerating the maturation process and contributing to its rich and complex character. Peated casks add a layer of earthy smokiness, complementing the distillery's hallmark notes of tropical fruits and sweetness.

Nose: Rich aromas of honey, toffee, beeswax, and coconut, with underlying notes of tropical fruits like golden kiwi.

Palate: Flavors of toffee and butterscotch are prominent, accompanied by a subdued, earthy peatiness. The texture is thick and oily, delivering a balanced experience with hints of tar, sweet pipe tobacco, and old leather.

Finish: Long and peppery, with lingering notes of red chili and a harmonious blend of sweetness and smoke.

This whisky pairs excellently with red meats or smoked foods, enhancing their savory flavors.
