ABOUT
Jean Pascal-Aubron’s family has been tending these vineyards near the Atlantic Coast since 1843. Primarily growers of celebrated Melon de Bourgogne, the grape that produces Muscadet, they also grow a small amount of Folle Blanche. Called “Picpoul” in the south of France, the Loire Valley’s Folle Blanche is a hearty, high-acid grape that becomes the absolute most refreshing white wine when vinified.
TASTING NOTES
Crisp and bright as the sun, with notes of lime zest and limestone, white flowers and a bit of beachy salinity.
FOOD PAIRING
Strong flavored sea food dishes like salmon, swordfish, scallops, clams, oysters and rich cream or butter sauces.
