Glen Keith Hogshead 15 yrs Speyside Unchillfiltered Signatory Single Malt Scotch Whisky

During the 1970s, experimental Glenisla malt whisky was made at Glen Keith, destined primarily for use in the Chivas Brothers’ blends. Glenisla was made using both peated malt and peated water (the water was flavoured with smoke and then run through a still to concentrate this smokiness).

COLOR: light gold
NOSE: Hay, dry grass, vanilla, menthol and oak. Fascinating and intense. Some herbs, bergamot and sage
TASTE: Rich and oily, sweet vanilla custard, ripe plums, aniseed balls and a hint of turmeric. Very malty with citrus and spices.
FINISH: Good length with apples, marmalade and toffee.
