Stolen Smoked Spiced Rum (formerly coffee and cigarettes)
Inspired by ‘Coffee and Cigarettes’, the series of short films from Jim Jarmusch, distillery set out to create a sensory experience that fuels creative conversations.
The distillation and ageing process takes place in the Caribbean where the rum matures in ex-bourbon oak barrels for a minimum of two years, before it is carefully blended by hand.
Then, rum was blended with natural spices and oils – a method used in our handcrafted ‘tincture’ based approach. The best tinctures of each ingredient are sourced from around the world; in this rum, distillery used Fenugreek from Morocco, Vanilla Bean from Madagascar and Arabica Coffee Beans from Colombia.
Smoky toffee aromas on the nose, with a coffee, smoke and butterscotch finish in the mouth.
This rum is versatile, and can be used in all rum cocktails, as well as rye or bourbon based classics (but best served neat).
