Here in the southern most part of Burgundy, the soils of clay and limestone favor crisp, mineral–driven Chardonnays layered with ripe fruit, perfect for an aperitif and versatile at table with all sorts of appetizers.
Nose of figs, yeasty bread, lemon oil, a hint of sweet tree sap. Rich spread of fruit on the palate with a round feel, sweet aromatic lift at the back into a long acid finish.
