Found North x The Prime Barrel "The Last Dance" Private Whiskey Blend

Every great story needs an ending, and ours is “Last Dance.” It is the third and final private whiskey blend from Found North and The Prime Barrel, with a custom label to commemorate it. It closes a trilogy that began with a corn-forward First Date and moved to a rye-driven, wine-cask Anniversary.

For the finale, we went back to where it all started. Blend #HK19.2 returns to a high-corn mashbill and pairs it with the oldest, strongest whiskey of the series. Nearly 80% of the blend is 16-year-old whiskey. A layer of 21+ year stock adds depth, and the whole thing is bottled at an uncut 130 proof. It’s the boldest of the three, built for the moment the music slows and nobody wants to leave the floor.

Blend Composition and Cask Finishes

“Last Dance” brings together three age statements and three cask types:

• Age: 79.66% 16-year, 10.7% 10-year, and 9.64% over 21 years old
• Casks: 63% New American Oak, 30% Sauternes, 7% Rosé Port
• Mashbill: 92% corn, 7% rye, 1% barley
• Strength: 65.0% ABV, 130 proof, bottled at cask strength

The New American Oak builds the caramel-and-vanilla backbone. The Sauternes casks add honeyed richness and stone fruit, and a small share of Rosé Port lifts the blend with bright red fruit.

“Last Dance” is the final chapter of the Found North x The Prime Barrel trilogy and a small-batch release that won’t be repeated. Pour it to close out a collection, to mark a milestone, or to share with the people who were there from the first date onward.
