This limited edition, single cask, single malt whisky is distilled by Chichibu Distillery in Saitama, Japan, under Master Distiller, Ichiro Akuto. This cask from Chichibu’s Zodiac Series was produced using 100% malted Concerto two row barley which is milled and mashed in-house before being fermented for between 90–100 hours in Mizunara washbacks. Distilled in 2000-liter Forsyth copper pot stills and aged for 6 years in ex-bourbon American white oak casks before spending an additional 1 year in IPA beer casks, the finished whisky is bottled at cask strength without additives or coloring. Non-chill filtered; 62.1% ABV. Limited release of only 251 bottles.
