Benjamin Prichard's Double Chocolate Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Don't think of this as a 'flavored bourbon.' Benjamin Prichard’s Double Chocolate Bourbon is a very serious 90-Proof Bourbon. Infused with cocoa nibs (from Nashville-based artisanal chocolatier Olive & Sinclair), it begins with much of the sweetness typical to bourbon. Still, it is balanced with the bitterness of the pure chocolate to produce a better-balanced bourbon, belying its 90-proof character. 

Introducing the small quantity of chocolate into the finishing process is intended to influence and augment that natural hint of chocolate in good bourbons. A conscious effort is made not to overpower the wonderful flavor of the bourbon but simply reinforce what's already there. The result is a rich, full-flavored bourbon with natural chocolate flavors subtly enhanced.
