This nine-and-a-half-year-old whiskey, which won Double Gold at the 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, is bottled at a punchy 123.8 proof and finished in Sherry Cask (4-6 months in 20th century Hungarian Oak/Oloroso Sherry). Mash bill is 70% Corn, 25% Rye, and 5% Malted Barley + a little bit of 70% Corn, 26% Rye, and 4% Malted Barley
TASTING NOTES
Sun-drenched, golden color along with an aroma of graham crackers, cooked peaches, tobacco and cherry jam. The palate is filled with lush notes of sherry, apricots, and rye toast, and leads to an oily finish complete with hints of cured ham, dates, and fresh melons.
