Blanton's 2023 River Edition, a limited edition single barrel bourbon, is a collaboration between Buffalo Trace and La Maison du Whisky (LMDW), the renowned French spirits retailer. This exclusive release is inspired by the Frankfort, Kentucky, and Paris, France rivers, which share a commonality in influencing their respective cities.

This edition is a testament to the art of bourbon-making and celebrates the rich heritage of both the Kentucky and Seine Rivers. Each barrel for this edition was specifically selected, resulting in variations in proof from 100 to cask strength, depending on the unique profile of each barrel.

The Blanton's 2023 River Edition boasts a nose of maple syrup or honey with beautiful vanilla bean, complemented by an orange citrus aroma and hints of stewed berries. On the palate, it offers flavors of caramel, English toffee, warm baking spices, butter notes, and sugar cookies. The finish is medium to heavy-bodied with a medium-long duration, where caramel and toffee are prominent alongside a spicy backbone that gives the bourbon structure.
