ABOUT
ABOUT
The oldest US release from Eigashima Shuzo’s White Oak Distillery, this lightly peated single malt was aged entirely in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, resulting in a heavily spiced yet refined whisky.
Pecans, stewed strawberries, allspice, and charred oak on the nose precede a spicy palate of clove, toasted black pepper, and vanilla bean; honey-drizzled peaches and grilled figs with a touch of sea salt on the finish.
- Single malt whisky produced by Eigashima Shuzo in Akashi, Japan
- Lightly peated to 10ppm
- Distilled twice in copper pot stills
- Aged 7 years in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels
- Limited US release of only 492 bottles
- Non-chill filtered; 50% ABV
