Distilleries et Domaines de Provence crafted RinQuinQuin by reviving a centuries-old regional tradition of preserving the ephemeral summer harvest. It is not a heavy liqueur. It relies on crisp white wine from the Luberon, providing a structural backbone that keeps the sweetness from becoming cloying. Three peach varieties are macerated alongside autumn-harvested peach leaves, adding a crucial tannic edge. This deliberate addition of leaves offsets the ripe fruit, creating an unexpected botanical depth. Six months to a year of rest lets the disparate elements integrate into a cohesive, golden liquid.
