Cantine Pepi’s Eron Terre Siciliane Nero d’Avola is a signature expression of Sicily’s native red grape, crafted in the hills near Licodia Eubea in the southeastern part of the island. The wine is vinified in stainless steel (no oak influence) to preserve the purity, energy, and red fruit clarity of Nero d’Avola. Bright and expressive, Eron showcases the vitality of Sicilian terroir—ripe but fresh, generous but balanced. With moderate alcohol (around 13–13.5 %) and approachable structure, it’s built for both everyday enjoyment and as a versatile table wine.

Nose: Vivid aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry, and crimson plum open first, with secondary notes of dried herbs and a light dusting of Mediterranean scrub (garrigue). A hint of spice—white pepper or clove—adds intrigue.

Palate: On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and vibrant: juicy red fruit (cherry, cranberry) leads, complemented by savory tones of dried herbs and earth. Tannins are gentle, the texture is smooth, and the acidity gives lift and structure.

Finish: The finish is clean and balanced, with lingering red fruit, a touch of spice, and a soft mineral note. It draws out without heaviness, making the wine lively through each sip.
