NV Huguet de Can Feixes "Blanco Seleccio"

40% Parellada (locally, Montonec), 36% Macabeo, 18% Chardonnay, and a touch of Malvasía de Sitges (6%).

This light yellow colored white wine has tiny bubbles when initially poured. But it is not a sparkling wine. It opens with a mild wet stone and faint pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and viscous. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused lime with hints of green apple, tangerine and ginger ale. The finish is dry and its flavors and minerality are nicely prolonged and refreshing.

This wine would pair with swordfish skewers of the grill
