Wilderness Trail Small Batch Straight Wheated Bourbon is a premium bourbon from Wilderness Trail Distillery in Danville, Kentucky. This Bottled in Bond bourbon is made using a sweet mash process and features a high wheat content, among the highest used in Kentucky bourbon. Aged in barrels made from 18-month air-dried staves and with a char level of #4, this bourbon is aged 5 to 6 years and bottled at 100 proof.

Nose: Aromas of cookie dough, butterscotch, vanilla, light burnt caramel, butter, honey, allspice, and oak, with moderate alcohol presence.

Palate: Flavors of cookie dough, allspice, soft light caramel, and a touch of apple juice, with oak and char notes.

Finish: The finish is fairly long, with flavors of char, oak, and black pepper. It has a moderate burn and lingering notes of char and oak.
