ABOUT

NULU 8 Years Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a distinguished and carefully crafted bourbon from Prohibition Craft Spirits. This bourbon started as a 6-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon barrel, which then spent an additional two years aging in College Station, Texas, before being returned to Kentucky for final bottling. This unique aging process enhances the complexity and depth of its flavor profile.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Aromas of fresh nuts, oak, underlying spice, and dried raisins with a tingle of ethanol.

Palate: Rich flavors of baking spices, cinnamon sticks, burnt caramel, and syrup-soaked raisins. The high rye content adds a delightful layer of spice.

Finish: The finish is long and lingering with notes of leather, dried cherry, oak, light rye spice, and a touch of earthy rye toast.

FOOD PAIRING

This bourbon pairs exceptionally well with smoked or grilled meats, rich chocolate desserts, and sharp or blue cheeses. Its robust and complex flavor profile also complements savory dishes such as roasted duck or aged steak.
