Laphroaig The Wall Collection Aged 36 Years "Peat" by Laura Carlin is a premium expression from the iconic Islay distillery, Laphroaig. This whisky is the inaugural release in the new Wall Collection and is distinguished by its hand-painted bottle by London illustrator Laura Carlin. The paint used is the same as that which adorns the walls of Laphroaig’s Warehouse No.1, adding a unique and historical touch to each bottle. Only 200 bottles were released, making it an extremely limited and collectible item.

Nose: The aroma is fruity with exotic passionfruit, strawberries, and moist sultanas, intertwined with soft leather and sweet cinnamon spice.

Palate: The palate offers sweet notes of zesty orange peel, pineapple, runny honey, vanilla, and custard tart, culminating in a hint of marzipan.

Finish: The finish is sweet and smooth with lingering signature peat, providing a classic Laphroaig experience with an added layer of complexity due to the peated cask finish.

This whisky pairs well with rich, smoky dishes such as smoked salmon, roasted meats, and dark chocolate desserts. The complex and layered flavors also make it an excellent companion for savory appetizers and fine cheeses.
