NV Domaine de la Madone Beaujolais-Villages Le Perreon

The vineyard stretches over the Thau Bassin and the Herault river.The Domaine de la madone is a family owned single estate for many generations. It covers 15 hectares of wines planted on the high terroir des Castelnaux

From low-yielding Gamay clones, the wine is mostly destemmed (90%-100%), goes through an 8-10 day maceration (for softer tannins & spice) and then traditional fermentation (no carbonic maceration). Aged in stainless steel & concrete for 6-8 months.

This jubilant almost full-bodied red spills over with bright red berry fruit and spice. Lovely! Terrific replays of fleshy raspberry on the palate and finish of this mouth-watering juicy red wine.
