NV Domaine Collin-Bourisset Beaujolais-Villages Domaine des Hospices Civils de Lyon

The Estate of Hospices Civils de Lyon was created from donations over centuries, specifically during the 1880-1920 period. The total profits generated by this estate go to improving the accommodation of patients in the hospital. Since the 1994 harvest, Collin Bourisset is the exclusive distributor of Beaujolais-Villages des hospices Civils de Lyon. Produced on the village of Le Perréon, this 100% Gamay wine uses grapes grown on soil of granite and clay. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinification occurs in the typical Beaujolais fashion with submerged cap. Maceration lasts 7 to 10 days.

Nice ruby color, complex nose that reminds spices and fruits. Soft, delicate and fruity wine, very typical of the Beaujolais-Villages A.O.P. with a undeniable elegance.

To be served between 12 and 14°C on its own, or with terrines and grilled red meats.
