This whiskey is made from a blend of two straight whiskeys, one aged in new American oak barrels and the other aged in used bourbon barrels. The whiskey is then finished in a Hermann J. Wiemer Noble Select Riesling barrel, which imparts a unique flavor profile. Noble Riesling is a big, syrupy, and concentrated dessert riesling in a beerenauslese style with honey, honeycomb, and exotic tropical fruit flavors supported by assertive natural acidity. Very strong botrytis influence. This whiskey takes after that influence and has notes of honey, apricot, and citrus, with a smooth finish. This whiskey is bottled at cask strength.
