Our second "Baby Saz" pick comes from a sister barrel of our original/first Sazerac Rye selection. Profiles are quite different between two barrels - and certainly different from their regular expression sibling.

• Nose: citrus, molasses, cinnamon, pipe tobacco, leather, charred oak
• Palate: dried stone fruit, raisins, eucalyptus, pepper, leather, anise, toasted oak
• Finish: Warm and citrusy

For the "tater sticker," we paid homage to the birthplace of the Sazerac drink, New Orleans. When we think of the Big Easy, a few things come to mind - Sazerac, beignets, Mardi Gras, and jazz. While our first selection had a Louis Armstrong-inspired sticker, this one pays homage to the greatest annual party there is, the Mardi Gars.

This barrel will be supporting Shriner's Hospitals for Children. Through the generosity of donors, folks at Shriner's have been able to help more than 1.5 million children reach their potential and lead more fulfilling lives, regardless of the families ability to pay.
