Being perhaps the fastest "pick-to-glass" barrel (2 weeks from the date of the pick to when the bottles are available to purchase), it also has another distinction by being selected by a group of The Prime Barrel premium members, on distillery's birthday, no less (hence the name of the pick).  During our visit to the distillery, we tasted through 8 different barrels, and this one was a unanimous winner.
