Makashvili Wine Cellar Khikhvi

Makashvili Wine Cellar is one of the oldest and most well respected estates in Georgia. The 2016 Khikhvi is produced from estate grown hand harvested grapes from the village of Kardenakhit. It is aged in Qvevri for 6 months with skins and stems.

The wine is characterized by a deep amber color, a full body stony texture, and notes of nutmeg, honey and apricot.
