    10 Year, 107 Proof This wonderful bourbon is bottled as close to barrel proof as possible. We add just a splash of our Kentucky limestone well-water when we empty the barrels for bottling. Thus, this whiskey is as smooth as any you will find. The more water you add to whiskey from its natural barrel proof to its bottle proof, the harsher it becomes. This 107 barrel proof seems to be just right. Rated 94 by the Beverage Tasting Institute
  • TASTING NOTES
    • Nose: Sweet and soft, with notes of wheat, corn and custard. Caramel, candy floss and dried fruits.
    • Palate: Rich and thick with notes of caramel, vanilla, dates, walnuts, coffee beans and soft oak. Very buttery and incredibly smooth.
    • Finish: Long and spicy with notes of gingernut biscuit and golden syrup on the tail.

Old Rip Van Winkle 10 year delivers!

Was hesitant to purchase based off of the price point, but can say it is worth every penny. It is extremely smooth and the flavor is incredible! Going to have to make the Van Winkle 10 year a yearly purchase!
