Westward Oregon Stout Cask American Single Malt Whiskey

A celebration of Oregon’s legendary brewing culture, this whiskey honored state's brewing roots and grew out of the distillery's longstanding cask-trading tradition with Northwest craft beer producers. For as long as the distillery has been making whiskey, they have traded their freshly-emptied barrels with some of their brewing collaborators. Brewers, in turn,  “seasoned” those barrels with Stout before returning them again. This Stout Cask Finish pushes the boundaries of flavor. It begins with the Westward American Single Malt, and is then aged for one year in Stout casks.

Nose: Roasted grain and stone fruit
Palate: Smooth and round. Rich notes of toasted pecan and milk chocolate.
Finish: Bold and dry
