100% Cabernet Franc; Practicing Organic; The estate was founded in 1880 and today is operated by Jean-Francois Rouet, the sixth generation winemaker in his family. The vineyard is an average age of 25 years old. Mechanical harvest of younger vines and hand harvested for older vines then grapes are destemmed and pressed. Fermentation lasts for 25 days in stainless steel vats with daily racking.
Medium bodied red wine with red currant, cherry and tobacco aromas. well rounded dry finish. You can even drink this wine chilled.
