The Prime Barrel is proud to unveil our second release from Binder’s Stash: an 8-year-old (even though the label states 7-year-old), 4-grain single-barrel bourbon built for serious bourbon enthusiasts. This is the second of three Willett-distilled barrels selected from Binder’s Stash — and it continues where the first one left off.
Binder’s Stash 4-Grain Bourbon was distilled by Willett Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, and bottled straight from the barrel at 124.6 proof. This isn’t random bourbon sourcing. This is a deliberate strategic alignment with Willett Distillery — one of Kentucky’s most respected independent producers.
When Prime Barrel members spent a morning tasting with Bill Binder, this elite barrel earned one of the highest scores of the past year.
The 4-grain mashbill of 55% corn, 12% rye, 18% wheat, and 15% malted barley creates a flavor profile that hits every corner of the palate. It shines with a showstopper nose, a sweet and complex palate featuring cornbread, decadent French vanilla buttercream, and burnt sugar wrapped in a soft kiss of mature oak with a rich, dessert-like finish.
Barrel Two of Three. Willett-distilled. Binder’s Stash curated. Hand-selected by The Prime Barrel.
