NV Azienda Agricola Sofia Etna Rosso Gioacchino

Carmelo Sofia runs the winery along with his sister, Valentina. This wine is named after his father, Gioacchino, who helps out - mainly in the vineyard. The vehicle on the label is called Ape Piaggio in Italian or Lapa in Siciliano. Piaggio is the same company that makes the Vespa Scooter.

Fresh in style, mineral driven, coupled with layers of red fruits & salinity. A very elegant wine that expertly blends floral, berry, and mineral notes. Supple tannins develops nicely with layered complexity.
