Viña Ilusión's 2022 Rioja Red is a vibrant expression of the Rioja Oriental terroir, meticulously crafted by Martín Alonso and Gloria Plaza Medina. Since 1992, they have championed organic and biodynamic farming practices, cultivating their vineyards at elevations between 600 to 700 meters. Their holistic approach integrates permaculture principles, fostering a self-sustaining ecosystem that enhances soil vitality and grape quality. This blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Graciano grapes is hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, resulting in an unoaked wine that showcases the pure essence of its varietals and terroir.

Nose: The bouquet opens with vibrant aromas of mixed berries and red fruits, complemented by subtle floral undertones and a hint of minerality, reflecting the high-altitude vineyards from which the grapes are sourced. ​
