Terres de l'Aumonier Touraine Les Arpents

Domaine de l'Aumonier is run by Thierry and Sopie Chardons and is situated in the village of Couffy, in the south of Touraine, on the slope of the Cher in the heart of the Loire Valley. The estate was founded in 1996 and is named after Sophie's grandfather. They began with 10 hectares of vines and have now accumulated 47 hectares total. 26 hectares are located on slopes around Couffy, on soils of clay and flint. The other 21 hectares are spread around the village of Mareuil sur Cher, on soils of chalk and clay. The estate is certified organic.
