ABOUT

Lieb Cellars is an 84-acre sustainably farmed vineyard located on the North Fork of Long Island, 80 miles east of New York City. Lieb was founded in 1992 and debuted their first line of reserve wines in 1999 under the direction of Australian-born winemaker Russell Hearn, with the Pinot Blanc and the Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine quickly gaining national recognition. The next year, they opened their first tasting room on the North Fork of Long Island in Mattituck, NY. As wineries do when they become more popular, Lieb Cellars began to expand production, and, in 2004, introduced the Bridge Lane series: lighter, fruitier “every day” wines at more affordable price points

TASTING NOTES

Notes of guava and peach blossom, followed by flavors of strawberry and watermelon.

FOOD PAIRING

Two of the hardest cuisines to match with wine, are robust Central American dishes and flavorful curries from India and South East Asia. Dishes that use a lot of spices, peppers, and salt tend to be very busy on the palate- so we must seek a wine that will be refreshing and calming to the palate.  Here is where this dry rose shines!
