Domaine Nerantzi Koniaros

The Nerantzis Mitropoulos family came from Thrace, the land of the wine god Dionysus. The tradition of their ancestors has shaped the lifestyle, the food habits and culture of the family. The vineyard and its wine give their life a seasonal rhythm of the stuffed grape leaves in the spring on the ripe grapes in the summer to young wine in the late autumn.

The winery grows indigenous varietals such as Koniaros, Asprouda Serron, Malagousia, Pamiti, Assirtiko and more traditional varietals Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Cinsault. 

The wine has an elegant dark red color, the nose, it is characterized by complex aromas of red fruits with hints of mulberries, plums, flowers, balsamic notes and traces of cocoa. Full bodied and very well balanced wine with long finish.

This wine is an ideal accompaniment to red meat dishes of all kinds, strong cheeses, lamb stews.
