The Uco Valley AVA in southern Mendoza sits at the base of the Andes Mountains at an altitude of 4000 feet above sea level. Estate fruit only is used for this wine, it is entirely handpicked. Unfined and unfiltered, matured in French oak for 12 months.
Classic lush Malbec flavors of blackberry, mocha, and earth are enhanced by a touch of oak. This has a very balanced palate between fruit and tannin, making it a wonderful everyday wine. We like to pair it with all kinds of meats, beans, and root vegetables.
