Maker's Mark American Justify Limited Edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

In the last 142 years of horse racing history, only 13 have achieved the elusive Triple Crown by winning the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness Stakes, and the Belmont Stakes. Until American Pharoah won in 2015, there had been nearly a 30-year drought dating back to 1978. Just three years later in 2018, Justify grabbed the Triple Crown again by winning all three races.

If you have ever been to the Kentucky Derby there are a few things that are guaranteed to be there – horses, cigars, hats and bourbon whiskey. To celebrate Justify’s historic 2017 win, Maker’s Mark Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky is releasing Limited Edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey bottle. For this special release, the trademark Maker’s red wax has been replaced with bright green racing colors from WinStar Farm. The entire bottle will be emblazoned in colors of Justify’s green, white and black jockey silks worn in the Kentucky Derby® by Mike Smith. The commemorative bottle not only pays tribute to Justify’s stunning run but also supports charitable causes.
