Westward "5 Borough Barrel" Single Barrel Cask Strength American Single Malt Whiskey

One of our distributors had the opportunity to select a single barrel of Westward Whiskey Cask Strength single malt and distribute It exclusively to five New York boroughs. They had enough individual accounts that wanted single-barrel products that justified breaking up a barrel into cases for individual sale. They usually only sell by their full barrel, but that was an exception. We were able to snag a couple of cases. Many of our members were curious about the brand, especially when the Cask Strength expression of theirs landed on the Whisky Advocate Top 20 Whiskies of 2022 list. While we have a virtual tasting with the brand in February, this is an opportunity to get a head start.
