Sazerac “Sazchmo - Bourbon Street” Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey The Prime Barrel Pick #23

Our first "Baby Saz" pick is finally here! A ramped-up version of the classic Sazerac flavor profile with loads of richness and spice. It's a whiskey you'll want to keep at the ready for some smooth sippin' on a Tuesday night or making your best Manhattan.

• Nose: Dark cherries, clove, anise, allspice, charred oak
• Palate: clementine, yellow plums, dried apricot, vanilla bean, leather
• Finish: lingering notes of black peppercorn and mint

For the "tater sticker," we paid homage to the birthplace of the Sazerac drink, New Orleans. When we think of the Big Easy, a few things come to mind - Sazerac, beignets, Mardi Gras, and jazz. When it comes to latter, the city produced legends not only in jazz but in music in general. One such legend is Louis Armstrong, aka "Satchmo." We love his music and decided to play homage to his nickname, so "Satchmo" became "Sazchmo." Crack open the bottle, play Mr. Armstrong's best hits, and it's an experience you are likely to remember for a while.
