Old Soul Tintype Series #2 is a nine-year cask-strength high-rye bourbon from Cathead Distillery, bottled uncut and unfiltered at 110.1 proof for intensity. It’s the second Music Maker Foundation collaboration, honoring bluesman Hermon Hitson with a whiskey as unvarnished as his guitar tone. This unique series, created in partnership with the Music Maker Foundation (MMF), honors the legacy of legendary blues musicians while celebrating the artistry of tintype photography.

Series #2 shines a spotlight on the renowned blues artist Hermon Hitson, whose once-elusive work captivated vinyl enthusiasts. His image and artistry are immortalized on this limited-edition bourbon, crafted to embody the authenticity and depth of the blues.

Bottled at 110.1 proof, this meticulously aged 9-year bourbon comes from a rare, exclusive batch of just 20 barrels, making it a true gem for collectors and connoisseurs.

Nose: Sweet and nostalgic, reminiscent of fresh Fig Newtons with prominent vanilla and brown sugar.

Palate: Soft dried-fig flavors mingle with caramelized brown sugar and creamy vanilla, accented by warm nutmeg.

Finish: Pleasantly grainy with lingering sweetness, showcasing the bourbon's grain character.
