Known lovingly as "SAOS Rye 7/99" in reference to the 7-year age statement and the 99 proof, these were from the glory days of sourced MGP rye and were discontinued long ago. This has a bottling date of 4/8/15 and was bottled by Sarah (if you know, you know).

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Clean sharp rye, evergreen, smooth dill and herbal notes, rich toffee, toasted wood, cherry, minty rye

Taste: Clean minty rye, caramel, sweet toasted oak, musty wood, cherry soda, peppery spice. Clean Rye with a nice woody edge, all smoothly balanced. Flavor is great, smooth and so well-balanced but mouthfeel is a little light even at the abv

Finish: Toasted wood and clean minty rye, vanilla cherry, lingering rye spice
