Michter's Celebration Sour Mash Limited Edition Single Barrel Bourbon Whisky 2022 Edition

Renowned in American whiskey lore, Michter's unveiled their Celebration Sour Mash in 2013. This pivotal event in U.S. whiskey annals was a bold statement, signaling an American brand's intent to craft blends comparable to the world's most distinguished spirits. For this iteration, Michter’s lead distiller, Dan McKee, collaborated closely with their maturation expert, Andrea Wilson. He handpicked spirits from seven standout barrels – three of which were Kentucky Straight Bourbon and four, Kentucky Straight Rye. The whiskies chosen were aged exceptionally, with the youngest maturing for over 12 years and the eldest reaching beyond 30 years. This 2022 release marks the fourth introduction of Michter’s Celebration Sour Mash and the second overseen by McKee.
