World Whiskey Society is proud to offer this fine example of the Distiller’s art as a special selection from their oldest stocks. No water is added to reduce its strength, as the angel’s share has already taken care of that. No caramel coloring is added so that you can see its pure and natural color.

The expression was bottled without chill-filtration in the traditional style, which does not remove the nose, proteins, and other essential taste factors. Only 71 bottles were produced. This is a one-time release; once it's gone, it is gone forever.

Note: The Prunus family is strongly represented on the nose, with almondy overtones and prunes in Armagnac. Bruised nashi pear and wax apple aromas add a fruity breeze from the Far East. The base notes are of leather and an old library.
Palate: Considerably maltier and cereal on the palate. Buttery shortcrust apple pie and decadent Cannelé cakes revel in their sweetness. Around the middle, there's a diversion to Amaratti and oat biscuits, and the medium-long finish has the depth of dark rye bread.
