This unique selection brings together the expertise and passion of some of the most distinguished palates in the whiskey community, resulting in a bourbon that is as distinctive as it is delicious.

The Selection Journey:

Selected with the esteemed Mash & Journey Whiskey Club, this bourbon results from an intense and collaborative tasting session. Jason, co-founder of the club and host of the popular "Mash & Drum" YouTube channel, joined forces with The Prime Barrel members and their co-founder, Michael, along with Scott and Colin, the owner of Kings County Distillery.

The panel tasted through five private blends, each with the opportunity to taste them separately and even "blend the blends" to discover the perfect harmony. This is a pioneering selection for Kings County, marking the first time they picked from a ready-made blend rather than a single barrel.

The diverse palates on the panel ensured a comprehensive evaluation. While Scott leaned towards traditional, bold, oak-heavy notes, Michael, Jason, and other Prime Barrel members sought something uniquely representative of Kings County's signature style. After blind tasting and rigorous debate, they settled on a blend that stands apart from previous single barrels, delivering a rich and singularly captivating bourbon.
