Found North Peregrine 21 Years Old Cask Strength Whisky 2024 Edition

Introducing the 2024 edition of Peregrine, the latest release in Found North's High Altitude Collection. This expression builds upon the foundation laid by the First Flight release, offering a refined and enhanced tasting experience.

In crafting Peregrine 2024, the team aimed to enrich the mid- palate's viscosity and temper the black pepper notes on the finish. This was achieved by adjusting the finishing process, utilizing a blend of Cognac and New Wood casks in a 70:30 ratio. The result is a whisky with a denser orchard fruit on the nose and mid-palate, complemented by a robust New Oak caramel tones foundation.

This release exemplifies Found North's commitment to blending, finishing, and reblending, ensuring each whisky in the High Altitude Collection possesses a distinct identity and profile. Peregrine 2024 is a testament to this philosophy, offering enthusiasts a rich and balanced whisky experience.

Notes of Raspberries, nectarines, cocoa butter, magnolia blossom, and honey with whisps of toffee waft solicitously from the glass. The palate is a torrent of chocolate, cinnamon sugar, and ripened red pear. The twisting notes of dragonfruit, molasses, and nougat are intricate and
luscious, undulating from density to richness. A crescendo of cloves, couverture chocolate, and apricots peak and fall on the finish.
