ABOUT
ABOUT
Rediscover a Kentucky legend with Early Times Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Crafted at the historic Early Times Distillery (DSP-KY-354) in Shively, Kentucky, and now owned by Sazerac since 2020, this 100-proof (50% ABV) bourbon revives a legacy dating back to 1860, when John Henry “Jack” Beam founded the brand. Adhering to the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, it’s distilled in a single season, aged at least 4 years in new charred oak barrels in federally bonded warehouses, and bottled unfiltered at exactly 100 proof. The mashbill of 79% corn, 11% rye, and 10% malted barley delivers a sweet-spicy balance. Non-chill filtered, it retains a rich, authentic character. Sip it neat for a mellow warmth, on the rocks, or in a Boulevardier for a spicy kick. Once America’s top-selling bourbon in the 1950s, it’s now a budget-friendly gem at $30 per 1-liter bottle. Act fast—this “bottom shelf queen” is as fleeting as a Kentucky sunset.
