ABOUT
ABOUT
Since the relaunch of the legendary Cream of Kentucky label in 2018 the brand has been met with rave reviews from industry professionals and whiskey fans alike. The wait for the next release is now over as a new offering is scheduled to hit the shelves this winter. Joining the Cream of Kentucky family is a 16-year Kentucky Straight Bourbon.
The Cream of Kentucky brand was originally introduced in 1888 by I. Trager & Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio. Just before the end of Prohibition, the brand was acquired by the famed Schenley Company and subsequently re-introduced in 1934. During this era, the brand introduced the legendary tagline, "The Heart of the
Run, " which perfectly encapsulated its commitment to delivering a bourbon with a "double rich" flavor.
Through the 1930s and 1940s Cream of Kentucky grew to become one of the leading bourbon brands, with renowned artist Norman Rockwell providing much of the award-winning artwork for the brand during its heyday. Today, Cream of Kentucky continues to honor its storied past, embracing the enduring legacy of "The Heart of the Run" and the double-rich flavor that defines its character, now with the added distinction of its robust 116 proof.
