Scottish Roots, American Evolution. In honor of its 20th anniversary and recognizing the American imprint on Scotch whisky, The Peat Monster revisits its origins. Originally crafted as "Monster" for the esteemed Goldstein family at Park Avenue Liquor Shop in New York City in 2003, its immense popularity led to its rebranding as The Peat Monster, which now holds a proud position in our main selection. A nod to American whiskey traditions, The Peat Monster's maturation process is enriched using casks from the US, each utilized just once.

To highlight the art of American coopering even further, the brand has finished part of the whisky used for this special Limited Edition in seasoned virgin American oak barrels, made for them in Missouri.

On the nose; sooty barbecue smoke, green apple and powerfully aromatic citrus oils, all underpinned by warming cinnamon. On the palate; tarry, smoked almond, with the seasoned virgin oak delivering added richness and vanilla notes alongside seaweed, cayenne pepper
and saltiness.
