Blue Run Trifecta Blend Bourbon Whiskey

Blue Run Trifecta Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a small-batch whiskey showcasing the art of blending high-quality base whiskey with the vivid flavors and aromas from older “wood heat” whiskeys. This premium blend, directed by Shaylyn Gammon, Director of Whiskey at Blue Run, includes a six-year-old whiskey base complemented by two older whiskeys aged in the upper reaches of rickhouses, which have undergone intense "wood heat" treatment.

Nose: Features notes of unsalted brown butter, French vanilla cream, warm dark brown sugar and cinnamon, spicy pepper, juicy hints of figs, and dehydrated apples.

Palate: The palate is silky, offering cinnamon spice-dusted candied apple, baked bread drizzled with caramel and peppermint, and white chocolate. It finishes with a balanced wood char.

Finish: The finish presents warm vanilla and weathered oak, offering a medium finish that counterbalances the upfront heat.
