Distilled in 2007 bottled 2020. Feast your eyes upon the 2007 Winter Batch Release of Daftmill single malt! Previous bottlings from this Lowland distillery have been much loved indeed, and we're expecting this one to be similarly adored. It was distilled from optic barley in 2007 and matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, with seven of them cracked open for this particular edition in 2019. 1,785 bottles were released. 46% ABV.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Sultana, candied ginger, greengages, cedar, and some autumnal leaf earthiness.
Palate: Honey and peanut butter on brown bread, with hints of apricot and pear giving it some fruity lightness. A few hints of chicory and peppery oak.
Finish: Custard Cream biscuits with milky tea, plus cut grass and lemon peels.
