Intensity meets precision on the coast. DuMOL’s “Wild Mountainside” blends Hoppe-Kelly and Dutton-Gregori fruit, capturing cool-climate Syrah depth with lifted spice and mineral drive. Clones Alban, Syrah Noir, and Estrella add nuance, while 15 months in 20% new French oak hogsheads shape fine, sculpted tannins and seamless texture. A significant whole-cluster component threads savory complexity through vivid fruit, keeping the wine energetic, polished, and cellar-worthy. About 780 cases produced; ABV ~14.1%.

Nose — Blueberry and black cherry mingle with violet, bacon fat, wood smoke, and anise; subtle, gravelly mineral tones add lift and detail.

Palate — Medium to full-bodied; raspberry and blackberry unfold with notes of pepper, mocha, and cocoa over fine-grained, whole-cluster tannins and lively acidity.

Finish — Long, savory, and focused, echoing dark fruit, tobacco, and lavender with a cool, stony snap that lingers.
